  • Ibiza Activities

The natural beauty of Ibiza’s landscape lends itself perfectly to an enormous choice of outdoor leisure activities. Walking, hiking and trekking are popular ways to soak up the scenery and sunsets. Coastal routes take you from beach to beach and a trip into the mountains offers spectacular sea views from the cliff tops.

A sports paradise, the island has golf courses, horse riding, diving and boat trips. Taking one of the many tour trains is also a great way to see the island away from its bustling beach resorts.

  • Ibiza Beaches

With nearly 60 beaches to choose from on Ibiza, you’re never far from a wonderful stretch of golden sand or a sheltered cove. The island’s waters are also amongst the cleanest in the Mediterranean.

In the north, Portinatx offers magnificent panoramic views, rocky shorelines and a seabed of fine, white sand. You’ll find Playa d’en Bossa in the south has the longest sandy beach on the island – an ideal setting for families. For something a bit more active, watersports are available at larger resorts in peak season.

  • Ibiza Nightlife

There’s no escaping the fact that Ibiza is the world’s clubbing capital. With its contemporary and unique nightspots, the island remains one the most fashionable destinations in Europe.

A variety of stylish and traditional low-key bars and restaurants can be found all over the island. Here you can spend hours sampling delicious fresh seafood or typical tapas while lounging on luxurious scatter cushions. Intimate little bars line the winding lanes of the Old Town of Ibiza, whilst nearby Playa den Bossa offers a livelier nightlife.

  • Ibiza Shopping

Shopping on Ibiza offers a truly unique experience. Across the island you’ll find a selection of outlets, most of which stay open late.

Hippy markets provide the perfect opportunity to sample this much-loved Ibizan culture. Colourful stalls sell exotic batik wraps and clothing, tailor-made leather moccasins and a tantalising variety of east Asian silver jewellery and trinkets. Trendy boutiques are famous for their ‘ad-lib’ fashions, whether you go day or night-time shopping in the Old Town of Ibiza. Art galleries and local crafts are also in abundance here.

  • Ibiza Holidays - Points of Interest

    • Explore Ibiza Town. Visit the fortified Dalt Vila (old town) with its ancient cathedral, monastery, museums, boutiques, art galleries and cafés. Then take in the bustling port with its amazing mix of markets, buskers and millionaires’ yachts.

    • Have a wild wet day at a water park or go snorkelling and discover the wonderful underwater world.

    • Be part of a long-established Ibizan tradition, and watch the sunset near the rocky islands of Es Vedra and Es Vedranell from the cliffs at 'L'Era d'Es Mataret' near Es Cubells.

    • Visit the weekly Wednesday hippy market at Es Canar.

    • Take a boat trip to the little sister island of Formentera and switch off - no planes, and no five star hotels - just Caribbean-like turquoise seas, white sand beaches and charming villages.
