When booking with James you can be confident that your holiday is in safe hands...

We offer the widest selection of properties, handpicking each and every one to ensure they meet the highest quality and safety standards. Not only can you take advantage of our great choice and standard of properties, but you can also rest assured that your package holiday will be fully protected through our ATOL and ABTA bonding. Our ATOL protects all customers booking a holiday with flights, whilst our ABTA bonding protects customers booking a package holiday without flights, for example villa and car hire.

What does ATOL mean?

ATOL protection applies to flights and flight-inclusive holidays. ATOL protection does not apply to all holiday and travel services listed on this website. This website will provide you with information on the protection that applies in the case of each holiday and travel service offered before you make your booking.

Our James villa holidays packages, when booked with flights, are ATOL (Air Transport Organisers Licence) protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL licence number is 2730.

If you do not receive an ATOL Certificate then the booking will not be ATOL protected. If you do receive an ATOL Certificate but any parts of your trip are not listed on it, those parts will not be ATOL protected. Please see our booking conditions for information, or for more information about financial protection and the ATOL Certificate go to: www.caa.co.uk

Please see our booking conditions for further information or for more information about financial protection and the ATOL Certificate go to: https://www.caa.co.uk/ATOL-protection/Consumers/ATOL-certificate

What does ABTA mean?

As a member of the Association of British Travel Agents, we are obliged to maintain a high standard of service to you by ABTA's Code of Conduct. We can also offer you ABTA's scheme for the resolution of disputes which is approved by the Chartered Trading Standards Institute.

If we can't resolve your complaint, go to abta.com to use ABTA's simple procedure. Further information on the Code and ABTA's assistance in resolving disputes can be found on abta.com. You can also access the European Commission Online Dispute (ODR) Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/ This ODR platform is a means of registering your complaint with us; it will not determine how your complaint should be resolved.

Our ABTA membership numbers are W3940 and P8437 and our membership also ensures that any monies you pay for your package holiday that doesn't include flights, e.g., villa and car hire, are protected if our company should cease trading. If you book accommodation only then this protection doesn't apply. There is more information at abta.com and section 23 of our package booking conditions.

What does EGFATT mean?

The Civil Aviation Authority (UK) is a member of the European group ‘European Guarantee Funds' Association for Travel and Tourism’ (EGFATT).

The website http://www.egfatt.eu/ provides information on travel companies who have protection measures in place in Belgium/Luxemburg, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Ireland, UK, Switzerland and Norway. This is another way you are able to verify the protection you have with James Villas when making a package booking with us.
