Ventabren in Provence
Ventabren is a lovely old stone village perched on a hill and surrounded by beautiful countryside. Cobbled streets wind their way between typical stone buildings, overlooked by the ruins of an old château. The village has a peaceful Provençal atmosphere ideal for relaxation and to get a taste of rural France. Not far from the village, you can see the world’s largest stone aqueduct (the Roquefavour aqueduct), which is 400 metres long and 83 metres high. Also within a short drive is the historic town of Aix-en-Provence, which is a great place to stroll round, with its fountains and beautiful architecture. Here you will also find a good variety of amenities.
