Gaios in Paxos
This charming town occupies a beautiful waterfront location. Gaios is packed with local culture and represents the focus of island life, with bustling little streets leading from the main square. Here you will find a great variety of traditional restaurants, tavernas and a variety of shops. A great way to pass a laid-back afternoon is to relax and enjoy a drink in one of the cafes by the harbour front gazing out over the glittering blue waters. From here, you can also enjoy boat trips to the idyllic neighbouring island of Antipaxos, with its lush scenery and vineyards.
