The all-weather tennis court at the Casa Velha hotel is flood-lit and provides the opportunity to play late into the day, the perfect way to build up your fitness as well as having plenty of fun! Rackets and balls are also available for hire at the Hotel Reception, and hire of the tennis court is approx €7 per hour.

The gardens form a rich collection of plants from so many different parts of the world, gathered together over a period of 180 years or so. The Palheiro Golf Restaurant is situated in the Palheiro Golf Clubhouse. The restaurant is the ideal place for a pre or post golf snack or an a` la carte three course lunch or early dinner. The beautiful outdoor terrace offers some of the most breathtaking views in Madeira, overlooking the bay of Funchal and is a great spot to see the fantastic Madeira sunsets. The clubhouse restaurant is welcome to everyone and is a well-known stop-off point for a drink or meal regardless of whether you are a golfer.

At the Palheiro Village Forum you will find an 18 metre swimming pool and sun deck with panoramic views over the Bay of Funchal. Open all year round, this is the ultimate venue to come and relax, whilst soaking up the sunshine and the fabulous views.
