Madinat Makadi Resort is home to two fantastic and challenging golf courses. The first, an eighteen hole championship golf course, designed by John Sanford is bound to impress any golf lover. This course was designed with six sets of tees, so whatever your golfing ability; beginner, intermediate or expert, this course will have something to accommodate your needs. With over 7,500 yards of play, it is the longest and one of the best regarded courses in the region, with five holes overlooking the red sea whilst others boast views of salt water lakes and lagoons. There is also a nine hole course of par 27 which presents another challenge for all calibres of golfers, where a game can be completed within ninety minutes.

After a long or short game of golf, you can retreat to the welcoming club house where there is even a pool to cool you off. Enjoy a coffee at the bar or meal at the a la carte restaurant which offers breathtaking views over the course and the beach.

A fully stocked Pro Shop is available with a wide range of up-to-date golf accessories, so you can purchase or hire all the necessary equipment and other services include daily club rental, club cars, trolleys or a caddy.

When the sun has gone down and it is a little cooler, you can enjoy a thrilling game of tennis on one of the floodlit courts on the resort. There are two tennis courts available at the sister hotel 'Jaz Makadi Star' and equipment hire is available at an additional charge. Makadi Water World is Egypt's largest water park and is located right on your doorstep, within the Madinat Makadi Resort! Open daily from 10am until 5pm, Makadi Water World features 50 different slides for both kids and adults including a 19 meters free-fall slide, tunnel slides, mini rainbow and elephant slides! The design of the water play structure was inspired by the exciting “Pirates” theme featuring ship sails, pirate sculptures with colorful blend of slides; will double the pleasure and excitement of our young guests. There is a café onsite serving meals and snacks, enabling you to spend the whole day at this fantastic place!

Elsewhere on the resort, there are many more attractions which involve water and can be found at the beach in the form of diving, surfing and aqua centres.

The beautifully designed Souk will satisfy all your holiday shopping requirements with more than 145 outlets selling everything from gold jewellery to pure perfume oils and high quality cotton clothing. You will also find a pharmacy, bank and supermarket.

From your accommodation at Saraya Palms you will be within walking distance to a great selection of gourmet dining restaurants.

The Safari Restaurant is the main restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner for those not wishing to cook in their apartments. However, the resort is also home to a number of themed restaurants which come highly recommended.

Take a walk to ‘Souk Makadi’, a shopping, dining and entertainment area located right in the heart of Madinat Makadi Resort.
