There is no chance of ever getting bored or running out of things to do at Marina del Sol! Team Marina, the onsite activities and entertainment team, organise activities ranging from water sports, hill walking, arts & crafts, bingo, flamenco dance classes, Spanish lessons, quizzes and much, much more!

When you arrive, you will be given an information pack containing the 'Activities and Entertainment guide', a weekly timetable of organised onsite activities, which include the evening programmes for the restaurants and their theme nights. A flamenco night, piano bar, various cabarets and special entertainment evenings are regularly on offer and always enjoyable.

The younger members of the family are not forgotten as Team Marina organises a supervised miniclub for 4 to 11 year olds with games and competitions.

The two Team Marina offices, also offer a small book swapping facility, board games and sports equipment rental.

There is also a play and picnic area situated at El Rancho restaurant in Marina del Sol, which is an ideal place to order a pizza and watch the kids burn up all their energy.

In addition, the Games Room situated next to Zacary’s has billiards, table tennis, air hockey and a selection of video games. .

The onsite resort trains can take you from place to place around the resort for free, and run approximately every 30 minutes. Located right next to the reception at Marina del Sol is Sam's Pantry, the perfect place to pick up those holiday essentials and basic groceries for an enjoyable stay.

Elsewhere on the resort you will also find a well stocked mini-market and two gift shops where you can buy English newspapers, souvenirs and even book excursions to a range of popular destinations in the surrounding area.

For a more extensive grocery shop, or if you fancy souvenir shopping, head to nearby Fuengirola where there is a large selection of shops as well as a supermarket.

You will be never be short of choice for somewhere to eat at Marina del Sol. This resort has a fantastic selection of restaurants and bars each with different dining options and children's menus.

Zacary’s Restaurant, set in the heart of Marina del Sol, offers a happy and friendly atmosphere ideal for the whole family. Open year round for breakfast, lunch and dinner, this lovely poolside restaurant benefits from an international menu. Next door you will find Zac’s Shack, a tropical style terrace offering a variety of snacks and a fabulous selection of cocktails to get your holiday really going!

Alternatively, why not try El Rancho? Open during the summer season, this restaurant is especially popular with families thanks to its excellent evening entertainment and large children’s playground, and offers a delicious Spanish à la carte menu.

Sam’s Pantry is situated right next door to Marina del Sol Reception and is the ideal place to pick up all those essential shopping items and basic groceries. It also stocks a range of freshly baked bread, cakes and ice cream. Alternatively, just sit and enjoy the marvelous sea views while sipping your fresh-brewed morning coffee or afternoon tea.

If you want to enjoy your food in the comfort of your own apartment, why not visit Charlie Costa’s Takeaway, an excellent takeaway and delivery service with an extensive menu to choose from.

Take a ride on the resort train over to the other side of the resort, where you will find the fantastic Sunset Lounge. Enjoy a relaxed morning coffee or afternoon tea, with delightful views of the Mediterranean. The daily “happy hour” is sure to get you in the holiday mood, and, later on, the place really comes to life with live entertainment, music and dancing ‘til late - every night!

Finally, and definitely not to be missed, is the wonderful Safari Restaurant. This exotic restaurant, with its lush rainforest décor, adds a whole new dimension to holiday dining. Start the day with the full breakfast buffet or, later, sample the “around the world” lunch buffet. In the evening, Safari offers a diverse selection of dishes from its extensive à la carte menu, with many specialities including pastas and succulent grilled steaks. There are three main shared pools available to all guests of Marina del Sol, and depending whereabouts you stay, you may also gain additional access to a pool within your community. Located at various different spots around the resort, the pools are all of different shapes and sizes with sunbeds and parasols provided.

The pool at Marina Park is a popular choice, located right next to Zacary's pool bar and restaurant, it is the perfect place to enjoy an ice cold drink in the sunshine.
