The driving range, practice putting green and chipping green offer a chance to hone your skills and perhaps reduce your handicap. James Villa Holidays customers booking at La Torre will receive reduced green fees. A club house and well-stocked pro shop are also available, and Nicklaus trail golfers can also use the golf courses at the nearby Polaris resorts of El Valle, Hacienda Riquelme and Mar Menor.

On La Torre Golf Resort you will find the well-equipped Polaris supermarket where you can stock up on all of your grocery essentials. Alternatively, there are supermarkets in the nearby towns of Roldan and Balsicas.

La Torre’s traditional Spanish-style town centre offers a choice of great restaurants and bars with global cuisines ranging from Spanish Tapas to Italian, as well as an Irish Tavern and a wine bar.

In the resort village centre, sample the delicious rice dishes at ‘Arrocería Limonero’, in its wonderful setting overlooking the lake, visit ‘Trattoria Acacia’ for authentic Italian cuisine or stop by at ‘El Roble’ for mouth-watering tapas. The ‘Buffet Encina’ restaurant is also a firm favourite, serving stunning meat & fish dishes and other delicacies.

Within the resort hotel, you will find ‘La Vinoteca’, an elegant bar and tapas restaurant and ‘Al Fresco Restaurant’ which serves delectable Mediterranean cooking.

And if its night-life you’re looking for, La Vinoteca bar offers a wide selection of drinks and cocktails, whilst Bamboo serves up innovative cocktails in a cosy yet chilled out setting. The Clover Irish Sports Tavern is ideal for savoring one of the wide variety of beers whilst watching a football match or enjoying its many live music events and entertainment.

A small independent kids ball park and kids club can be found in the town centre, which is a great place to leave the kids to use up their energy and make new friends! It is open during the peak summer season only, from Wednesday - Sunday and runs subject to demand.

There are enough pools at La Torre to try a different one for every day of your holiday – and more! Seamlessly blending in with the authentic Mediterranean-style buildings and tropical vegetation of La Torre, the pools are a great place to meet other guests or just to cool off from the heat of the sun. There is also an indoor pool at the spa, however there is a local charge for this facility.
