Golf

	Golf de la Bretesche is a spectacular course nestled in a magnificent ancient forest and offers superb views of the château and its lake. The course is of outstanding quality, it is varied, technically challenging and will test you whatever your level. The course also deservedly claims to rank among the most beautiful in France, and even of the world. The course, designed by Henri Cotton almost 40 years ago, graciously fits into the landscape, majestically overlooking the castle towers and ramparts. This enchanting setting, magnificent nature and its tees punctuated by the brilliant colours of the Manors roses, azaleas, hydrangeas, rhododendrons, will accompany you from hole to hole throughout the course for an unforgettable pleasure… whatever the final score! There is also a compact 9 hole course, designed in similar spirit to the 18 hole course.

	The Bretesche domain is also a paradise for those who like to walk in unspoiled nature. Discover the flora and fauna of Brittany in the 200 hectare park. You can also explore the park by bike - hire is free of charge subject to availability. The domain is as beautiful in spring or summer as during fall or winter. Trees and meadows change their colours. the Bretesche domain is an enchanting place in all seasons.

	The "Spa de La Cour Carrée" guarantees pleasure of the senses, in premises dedicated only to your pleasure. Golden stone, slate, pebbles and teak… the warm and natural setting plays a huge part in your relaxation. A team of specialists take care of your every request, offering massages with relaxing virtues, aromatherapy, oligotherapy, amongst many other treatments for your utmost wellbeing.

Pick up some holiday souvenirs at the onsite gift shop and golf pro shop at Domaine de la Bretesche. The nearby town of Missillac has a fully-equipped supermarket which will cater for all your holiday essentials, only 5 minutes from the resort.

Restaurant and bars

For an amazing dining experience start by an aperitif in the “Bar des Ecuries” then follow the chef throughout his specially chosen menus in the gastronomic, michelin-star restaurant of "Le Montaigu". Alternatively, the French brasserie “Le Club”, is open for lunches and afternoon teas throughout the whole year and for dinner from March until September. From October until February, the brasserie is open for dinner from Thursday until Saturday. However, if its just a drink you are after, the cosy "Stable Bar" offers a wide drinks menu including delicious cocktails in converted old stables. Alternatively, the nearby town of Missillac has a handful of bars and restaurants, whilst the town of Roche Bernard has a large selection of places to eat and drink, all within a 10-15 minute drive.

Pool

	There is one outdoor swimming pool at Domaine de la Bretesche, situated a few steps away from the Brasserie in a well liked place of relaxation and leisure. There you may also have a drink or light refreshment, whilst enjoying the sun. Between the Brasserie terrace and the Golf practice, the swimming pool is surrounded by impeccably kept vegetation and flower beds. There is also an indoor swimming pool within the Spa premises, which provides the opportunity to enjoy relaxing leisure time all year.
