A fitness centre located within the clubhouse at Castro Marim Golfe offers a variety of exercise equipment to keep you in trim. It’s an ideal option for those looking to stay fit during their holiday, or indeed for the more competitive golfer determined to find that all-important edge! The centre also features a sauna for the use of resort guests. The gym is free of charge to use.

Castro Marim Golfe & Country Clube is not just a resort for golfers. There's plenty more to do if you want a holiday that isn't just about lazing by the pool of your villa.

You can hire bikes from reception to explore the resort and surrounding area of the Sapal Nature Reserve. Bird and nature lovers will be in their element as there are many species of exotic birds to see, like flamingos and Avocets in the winter months. Summer visitors include the colourful Bee-Eater.

Castro Marim Golfe & Country Club can also offers discounts on various nearby activities such as a game of tennis at the tennis club in the nearby town of Vila Real San Antonio, where Castro Marim Golfe & Country Club guests enjoy 20% discount.

The area has wonderful beaches and is great for wind surfing and sailing. And there are many boat trips to go on - either along the coast or up the Guadiana River which divides Portugal and Spain.

From 1st June 2012 there is also a children's playground being introduced, which will be ideal for the little ones!

A range of dining options is available to guests staying at Castro Marim, from the à la carte menu in the restaurant, to light meals including salads and pasta at the clubhouse bar where a large terrace offers wonderful views. There is a brand new kids' club opening from June 2012 in Castro Marim. Located in the new phase of the resort, there will be plenty of fun activities to keep children amused.

From June 2012, there will be a brand new communal pool at Castro Marim Golfe & Country Club. This large pool will be equipped with sunloungers and parasols and is next to a brand new clubhouse, which will offer snacks and drinks! The pool is located in the newest phase of the resort and is super for families!
