The popular seaside resort of La Tranche sur-Mer is a 20 minute drive away, offering a wider range of amenities, combined with stunning sandy beaches, watersports, a wide range of events, and a colourful farmers’ market on Tuesday and Saturday mornings.

Our attractive property is located in the rural area of Lage, a 10 minute drive from the amenities of the nearest town Couhé. A great location for experiencing a taste of the real French life, Lage offers peace and quiet, amongst beautiful surroundings. The town of Couhé also hosts a popular market selling wonderful local produce direct from the farm. The historic city, and airport at Poitiers can easily be reached within a 40 minute drive.

Our villa is located within the peaceful hamlet of Courbortige, just a few minutes’ drive from the centre of Melle.

Bordeaux is accessible for a daytrip by car, with its fantastic history, architecture and culture.
