Resort: Sa Pobla in Mallorca
Set in the fertile reclaimed marshland, known as the “Land of a thousand windmills”, this country town is the centre of the farming community and the ‘vegetable basket’ of the island. It has a few shops, a bustling produce market and a little museum of toys and games and contemporary art. In August the village hosts an excellent jazz festival.

"The villa was lovely. As mentioned earlier, the surroundings were even better than the photos on your website. This biggest problem was finding it as the directions were not easy to follow, especially in the pitch black. "

"this is the fourth villa holiday we have done with James Villas, every time the accomadation has been accurately described, living up to all expectations. "
Mrs Kinsella, Bournemouth, May 2007
"We booked our holiday through the website and by telephone as we wanted to book our own flights with our local airline. The rep that I spoke to was very helpful and informative. We stayed at the Villa Lagoon, Sa Pobla. Although the villa is in the middle of the beautiful unspoilt countryside,C'an Picafort and Alcudia are only a short drive away, with plenty of shops and good restaurants and bars. The Villa was fantastic with far reaching views from the balcony across the open countryside. The pool and gardens were well maintained and very clean. We can honestly say that this was the most relaxing holiday we have ever had and would defininately book again (very soon). There is only one negative comment and that is from my husband, he had to watch the Cup Final and European Final in German and Spanish, didn't bother me though as I was too busy enjoying the pool! "
