Just a few miles inland from the coast, the picturesque old Roman town of Pollensa offers a traditional Mallorcan experience. Wander around its narrow cobbled streets, discover crafts and clothes shops and join in the relaxed café life - Spanish style. You can purchase fruit, vegetables, cheese and olives direct from the farmers at the Sunday market, which is located on the Placa Major and the maze of little streets leading up to the Calvari steps. "We are two female friends who booked last minute for a sunny, relaxing, quiet week away without partners. We booked on the basis of dates and cost, using James Villas for the first time. Everything (except Luton airport, which we would go to great lengths and expense never to use again!) exceeded our expectations. We would both consider using this villa, Mallorca and James Villas again. The only comment we would make is that the pool (otherwise lovely) needs new filters - we spent quite a lot of time fishing bugs out of it which the filter should have flushed. This is a very minor criticism, for future info really, as everything else was just great. "
