Just a few miles inland from the coast, the picturesque old Roman town of Pollensa offers a traditional Mallorcan experience. Wander around its narrow cobbled streets, discover crafts and clothes shops and join in the relaxed café life - Spanish style. You can purchase fruit, vegetables, cheese and olives direct from the farmers at the Sunday market, which is located on the Placa Major and the maze of little streets leading up to the Calvari steps. "While we were away in Pollensa this April the weather was particulary bad (rained 11 days out of 14), we rang the James Villa representative to request heating in the villa, and even though we were told that heating was not part of our contract, she promptly contacted the villa agent who was at the villa in a very short time and the heating was put on. We are very grateful to both the our Representative and to the Villa agent. Without the heating the holiday would have been unbearable as we have two children (6 and 2). THANK YOU. "
