Just a few miles inland from the coast, the picturesque old Roman town of Pollensa offers a traditional Mallorcan experience. Wander around its narrow cobbled streets, discover crafts and clothes shops and join in the relaxed café life - Spanish style. You can purchase fruit, vegetables, cheese and olives direct from the farmers at the Sunday market, which is located on the Placa Major and the maze of little streets leading up to the Calvari steps. "A cracking holiday break in a villa with a very homely feel, immaculately clean if a little in need of updating in some areas. Wonderful restful garden and pool. We met the owners who were charming and gave us fesh grapes and pomegranates although we could only converse in French! Also loved the outdoor barbecue! "
