Resort: Pollensa in Mallorca
Just a few miles inland from the coast, the picturesque old Roman town of Pollensa offers a traditional Mallorcan experience. Wander around its narrow cobbled streets, discover crafts and clothes shops and join in the relaxed café life - Spanish style. You can purchase fruit, vegetables, cheese and olives direct from the farmers at the Sunday market, which is located on the Placa Major and the maze of little streets leading up to the Calvari steps. At the top of the steps, you’ll find the Calvari church and spectacular views across the town to the convent at Puig de Maria.
"Great Villa in every aspect except beds which were not comfortable. The owners were exceptionally friendly and welcoming and even baked a cake. the villa was spotless and every home amenity and facility "
Mr Carter, Thatcham, September 2011
"Situated in a rural setting, this villa provides a relaxing and tranquil experience. The extensive garden was a pleasure to explore and the swimming pool was fantastic. The owners made us feel very welcome and explaned where everything was. The kitchen was well equiped and the villa itself was very comfortable. My husband and I had a superb holiday staying at villa Es Refugi. "
Mr Eele, Basingstoke, June 2011
"The villa is in beautiful large secluded grounds with a high level of privacy and security without being isolated. The owners were very helpful without being intrusive. Perfect. "

"We were met by the lovely owners who we saw several times over the 2 weeks and were always keen to make sure that everything was ok.They kept the villa very clean and tidy and it was really nice to meet such a pleasant couple. The villa and grounds were superb. Very quiet, just what we needed. Hope we get the opportunity to go again. "
Mrs McGee, Paisley, July 2010
"For us, Es Refugi was truly a Shangri-la. Beautifully looked after by the owners-with exquisite gardens and a magical atmosphere. We loved the 'deep in the countryside' atmosphere and yet we were just 10 mins drive from Alcudia and 15 mins drive to Pollensa and Puerta de Pollensa. A perfect place. "
