Just a few miles inland from the coast, the picturesque old Roman town of Pollensa offers a traditional Mallorcan experience. Wander around its narrow cobbled streets, discover crafts and clothes shops and join in the relaxed café life - Spanish style. You can purchase fruit, vegetables, cheese and olives direct from the farmers at the Sunday market, which is located on the Placa Major and the maze of little streets leading up to the Calvari steps. "This is a beautiful villa, much better than we were expecting given the details on the website which made no mention of the table tennis, children's sand pit and other equipment provided. It was quiet but within easy driving distance of good restaurants. The villa and grounds were immaculate and the owner was absolutely charming and could not have been more helpful. Pool maintenance was excellent and very discrete. Outside seating areas are comfortable and well equipped. We have had a lovely holiday and would return. "

"In your reviews you say nothing and show no photos of the stunning views surrounding the villa. The nature reserve and mountain back drops were lovely. I would also say that the villa was closer to Alcudia old town than Pollensa, but that really dosen't matter as both are lovely. Restaurants we tried from your information book were all very good but not sure what was meant by hidden beaches, Formentor is hidden from the road but thats about it. Only being really picky now as all was great, you delivered once again. "

"It is obvious that much care and attention to detail has been spent on this villa by the owners.Everything we needed was there, the villa was well equipped with plenty of crockery, cutlery, etc.and the large gardens and the pool were well maintained. The villa is in a beautiful countryside setting about 4km from Alcudia with stunning views of the distant mountains. We had a very relaxing stay and would hope to return. "

"After the issue of our holiday details not having been received by e-mail when we should have had them we got all we needed to know eventually and we cannot fault James Villas in any way. The holiday went well, the villa was excellent, the rep offered her services but, as we are "veterans" of Mallorca we felt no need of her services. I arranged "after the event" for speedy boarding with the airline which would have been helpful to have booked at the time of the booking.
We will definitely consider using James Villas again and would have no hesitation in recommending you to anyone we might hear is looking for a villa based holiday!

"We spent this years holiday at Can Cosme in Pollensa, Majorca & I can honestly say this is a superb villa. The villa has lovely well maintained gardens (maintained by the owner and family who were lovely friendly people), nice pool area, great outdoor eating areas and lovely fruit trees to shade under!. Owners had put a lot of thought into the facilities at the Villa to make your stay easier - high chair, travel cot (at no extra charge), a welcome letter with contact number & 2 bottles of wine!, umbrellas incase of rain, plenty of crockery & cutlery, dvd player, plenty of sun loungers & even inflatable toys for the pool in the garage! We had a great holiday, the weather was perfect, my only gripe would be that the pool was a bit chilly but we soon got used to it!!! I would definatley like to come back to this villa & would recommend it to friends & family! "

"Having never been on this type of holiday before, we were really impressed! We took my parents with us after a lot of persuasion as my dad will normally only holiday in England and hadn't ventured abroad for 40 yrs! He was absolutely converted and wants to go back again next year. I chose one of the best of James as felt that we needed something rather special to sway him and Cosme in Pollensa wid just that! It was the nicest holiday we've been on and are looking forward to going back again next year! My eldest son starts school in September so from now on we will have to book our holidays around school breaks - please don't increase the prices too much during the holidays, pleasssssse !!!! thanks for a great holiday definately recommended you to everyone we know !! "
