Just a few miles inland from the coast, the picturesque old Roman town of Pollensa offers a traditional Mallorcan experience. Wander around its narrow cobbled streets, discover crafts and clothes shops and join in the relaxed café life - Spanish style. You can purchase fruit, vegetables, cheese and olives direct from the farmers at the Sunday market, which is located on the Placa Major and the maze of little streets leading up to the Calvari steps. "What a lovely villa. Smashing spacious layout with good size clean pool. Very comfortable beds and furniture. Fully equipped kitchen, even a cafetiere. Orange, lemon, and fig trees, which the owner said to help ourselves (he was watering the garden when we arrived, and is a very nice man). Just far enough off the main road to be quiet and secluded, but 5 mins by car away from 2 good supermarkets, along a reasonable width side road (not the tiny tracks that you sometimes find in Mallorca). The Eroski supermarket has a lot of English brands as well, if you want them. We will definitely be staying here again. "

"We enjoyed the villa's spaciousness and the garden with orange and lemon trees was lovely. We made fresh lemonade and orange juice. The pool was great and a perfect size - the photo was more accurate than I thought it would be! The only thing missing was the aircon - very hot and sticky at night but we knew that when we booked. "

"The only complaint I have about the villa was I didn't think your photos did it justice. It was beautiful. We have previously stayed at Villa Torres Jose just down the road from Carla and whilst not wuite as beautiful as that it was really lovely. "

"Fantastic holiday - the villa was excellent and had a nice chat with the owner when he came to water the garden.
One thing that would be nice is fitted sheets. I always seem to end up with the loose ones all in a tangle - it might just be me!!!! "

"This is our third visit to Villa Carla, Pollenca and each time it has been faultless.The only comment we would make is that we feel air conditioning would be a great advantage particularly in high season. We have recommended Carla to some friends and tyey are just about to return from their 2nd visit there this year. We feel we have found a little jewel! "
