Just a few miles inland from the coast, the picturesque old Roman town of Pollensa offers a traditional Mallorcan experience. Wander around its narrow cobbled streets, discover crafts and clothes shops and join in the relaxed café life - Spanish style. You can purchase fruit, vegetables, cheese and olives direct from the farmers at the Sunday market, which is located on the Placa Major and the maze of little streets leading up to the Calvari steps. "Staying in the cooler winter months it would be nice to have an initial supply of logs for the woodburner or at least some info as to where they can be purchased.Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.The villa is very convenient for both Pollenca and Puerto Pollensa and yet is in a very peaceful location with wonderful views of the mountains.The outdoor areas including pool and barbeque area are excellent. "
