Just a few miles inland from the coast, the picturesque old Roman town of Pollensa offers a traditional Mallorcan experience. Wander around its narrow cobbled streets, discover crafts and clothes shops and join in the relaxed café life - Spanish style. You can purchase fruit, vegetables, cheese and olives direct from the farmers at the Sunday market, which is located on the Placa Major and the maze of little streets leading up to the Calvari steps. "The villa was lovely, very clean and had everything that we needed we would definately go back again and that's alway the best recomendation anyone can give... however the instuctions of driving back to the airport were a bit thin and returning the rental car was interesting and involved a tour of the airport as it wasn't in the rental car area but the multi storey just before the rental care entrance.
